The workflow below is the branded step-by-step process submitted with toll-free registration.
Consent language captured at opt-in
The SMS preference control is separate from account creation and from acceptance of the Terms.
Opt-in selection: "I consent to receiving text messages from Oz Health at the mobile number provided for appointment reminders, appointment confirmations, lab result notifications, care alerts, and account notifications. Message frequency varies, up to 5 messages per week. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. View Terms and Privacy Policy."
The control defaults to "I do not consent to receiving text messages from Oz Health."
SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of receiving care or creating an account.
The patient must actively switch from the default no-consent option to the consent option to provide digital written consent.
The registered toll-free number sends healthcare and account notifications only. Promotional or marketing SMS is not sent from this number.
Terms and Privacy are shown directly next to the consent options and are publicly accessible.
A confirmation SMS is sent immediately after opt-in.
